Seeing if I can arrange a signing for Grunts: War Stories while I'm in Toronto. Either way, I'll be back in my hometown of Toronto for two weeks. Can't wait to see family, friends and chomp into a pork souvlaki pita. You've all been warned.

If any of you are hitting TCAF ( Toronto Comics Arts Festival ), do pick a free copy of Sequential Pulp 2. Then flip over to page nine, where you'll find a comic strip I'm working on with the infamous Tyrone McCarthy called, ZOMBIE DAD.

I wrote one of the stories for Grunts: War Stories titled Iron Snake in the Desert , which tells the crazy suicide mission where LT. Kiko...well, best to grab a copy to find out what happened to him. It tells the the events the happen before the original mini series, Grunts, from Arcana Comics . I have a preview of it on the right, which you can click through and check out most of it (but what happens in the end? Guess you'll have to grab a copy to find out). You guys should check out Orang Utan Comics' Alpha Gods. Interesting super team book with good character development and a twist for the antagonist. Just wanted to let everyone know that GRUNTS: War Stories (Arcana Studio) is in January 2010 Previews Catalog PAGE 194 . Please pre-order this fantastic collection of back stories written by amazing writers and a script monkey (that would be me). I wrote a story titled: Iron Snake in the Desert ; yes, many have pointed out the many meanings of that title. Honestly, that never crossed my mind. Wonder if it popped into Shannon's? I'll have to ask him about that.  This was a very fun piece to write. When Shannon (Denton) asked if I would like to contribute to a back story for the his and Keith Giffen's mini series, Grunts, I didn't have to think long before saying yes. There were challenges in researching both the original material and WWII facts. First I'm way--way behind with this, but with that said I do have a new blog that I'm working on about my move to Hong Kong. Yes, that's right, I've moved to Hong Kong. So this was the last con I attended. I got to see old friends and made new ones, which is always a great thing. Some notable surprises were a fan from Germany that actually found me in the craziness that all conventions are. He was there with his lovely wife. Turns out he also owned a comic shop there. I was floored to hear that my little book made it out there. For those who were wondering who was that man that kept on hugging me throughout the convention, it was the man, Templeton. He made a promise to hug me until I left and he's a man of his word. My family came for the first time to this event and the kids had a blast. They enjoyed the cosplay and general fanfare.
