The fine folks at Wayside Comics and Cocktail Bar invited a bunch of amazing comic creators to hangout, sign, sketch and who knows what else!   Kids Creating Comic Books Our goal is to teach you everything you need to know to turn your idea into your own comic book! You'll learn how to write a comic book script to comic lettering, how to do page layouts to cover design, and more as you make your own comic from comic book professionals who’ve worked for and published their comics with, Marvel Comics, Image Comics and others! Join me at Markham Public Library, Angus Glen to learn how to make a comic from idea to 1 page draft comic story.  Jumpstart your comic writing during this two-hour workshop, where participants will go from idea to a first draft of a one-page comic story. Joining us will be local expert, Howard Wong, Creative Development and Narrative Specialist, who has worked for many leaders in the creative industry including Bandai Namco Asia Company Limited, Bungie Inc., Hong Kong Disneyland, Marvel Comics, National Geographic Asia, and Threezero (Hong  Kong) Ltd.
